Patricia Spence, of the Clan of the Rose, watched the broken harmony of the gathered court with an agitated sigh. Normally, she could relax and enjoy the dance of her kindred with little to no bother.
Tonight, though, the agitato of Nicholai distracted her musings. The Gangrel tended to disrupt her arias and, though she was obliged to show him respect as her Sheriff, she loathed him with a fire. Elysium was meant to be a place of peace.
Tonight Nicholai was cornering a fearful caitiff near the dais intended for the creme de la creme and grinning maliciously as the flighty creature wrung his hands and hurriedly sought an escape.
"C'mon, ya fookin pussy! All ye have ta do is step outside fer a while with me," Nicholai continued taunting Lucas with his baritone voice and horribly faked accent.
Poor wretch must be more frightened by the smell.
Others were beginning to join the cry against the fearful creature. Patricia almost felt compelled to speak up in his aid.
Almost.
She wasn't about to be seen defending a caitiff.
