You can embed music in your posts by entering:
<url=URL OF MUSIC.mp3> PLAY MUSIC </url>
You will need to change the < and > to [ and ] and replace URL OF SONG.mp3 with your link.
If you need someplace to host music files, try www.ripway.com.
And by the way, we here at the game would never condone illegal filesharing of copywritten material.
If you want to be really fancy, you can even make the music window that pops up really small by doing this:
1. Copy this code to a notepad.
<script>
self.resizeTo(500,45)
</script>
<center>
<embed src="URL OF MUSIC OR VIDEO" width="500" height="45" autoplay="false" loop="X" />
</center>
3. Edit the URL and sizes (as described earlier)
4. Save notepad page as something like 'player.html' (you have to type .html after the filename)
5. Upload player.html (or whatever you called it) to ripway
6. Place this link in your post:
<URL=URL OF HTML FILE>NAME OF LINK</URL>
The result appears like this: ('course I added the nerdy little graphic n' stuff)
PLAY MUSIC
Mp3s can be a problem when trying to use them.
1. They are usually tied up in copyrights.
2. You would be unlikely to get permission to use it on your post.
3. it has a large file size for a reasonable length of music, and will take a long time to load, this will annoy all the dialup users *cough* Brian Young *cough* more.
Midi is a good option for music.
1. Less of a problem with copyright, but read the terms of use on the site you get it from.
2. More likely to get permission to use, even if the terms of use don't allow free use, you could still ask them for special permission.
3. Smaller filesize, usually a few k for a 3 minute tune, it will load faster and your dialup user *ahem* will be happy.

- This site offers 10mb of downloads from others before it locks your account for 24 hours.
- You can download your own files an unlimited amount of times.
- If you are trying to play any of these songs and you find that they won't play, it is likley that the download limit has been exceeded.

- Again, remember to change the <> symbols to []
- Change autoplay to "true" if you want it to start automatically
- loop="x" can be deleted, or you can set x to a positive number, or "true" if you want it to repeat.
