I'd like to not clutter up the Discipline Clarification thread, but there's a few things I'd like to also get clarified that aren't currently.
Animalism 5 - Can somebody "bounce" an incoming Beast by activating Animalism 5 themselves and tossing the incoming Beast instead of their own?
Auspex 1 - I vaguely disagree with the removal of a flat auspex roll to avoid surprise due to the unfairness of the dice pools of Dex (which can be pumped, and potentially Celeritied) vs. Perception, but I'm not going to make a huge deal out of it. Mostly I'd just like to point out that sneaking up to ambush people is _hard_ and just saying things like "I do it from the back!" should not do things like give them an advantage on diffs. With the one-shot potential that vampire powers give there should always be at least a slight edge towards being able to get out of situations if that's your only interest.
Auspex 2 - Could you mention the requirements for spotting infernalism?
Auspex 3 - The +1 diff per day means getting to the scene the next game is +7 diff. I'm totally fine with this going up ridiculously after a full game has passed, but if something happens at the end of one game and I only find out about it at the beginning of the next, this might be a bit annoying.
Also Auspex 3 - Could we also say something about how likely the character is to be affected by the situation? I really dislike situations where getting better at a dice pool inclines storytellers to have my character be crippled by the results (I understand the malkavian madness network, but that's about the only one) and there's been very few situations recently where Auspex 3 would get anything other than "You writhe around in pain".
Auspex 4 - I noticed that there's a +diff per derangement on top of the chance to get crazy from a derangement. I'm not going to complain about this one I just wanted to point out that both exist in case it was intended as a replacement.
Dementation 1 - +2 to degeneration checks takes a diff 8 to diff 10, which is much more drastic than diff 8 to diff 6. Is this intentional?
Is it intentional that there's no drawbacks to Passioning a negative emotion down, and lots of positives (-2 diff on self-control, -2 diff on degeneration checks, +2 diff on presence resist)? I would have expected the self-control and degeneration check to go in opposite directions.
Thanks for doing all these clarifications, by the way.
